dn400 double eccentric butterfly valve

Warmly welcome to use the latest version of the Vent-Axia specification range catalog. As part of Europe’s continued promotion of energy efficiency, ventilation equipment exceeding 30 watts falls within the scope of the energy-related product directive that came into effect on January 1, 2016. This legislation sets a series of minimum performance standards for fans and ventilation equipment according to two sets of legislation; “residential” ventilation and “non-residential” ventilation. As a result of the legislation, we have reviewed our products and updated them as needed to ensure they meet the requirements. Based on Vent-Axia’s motivation to provide our customers with the best solutions, we took this opportunity to update and improve some products while making them comply with ErP regulations. We have also improved the way we provide some of these products-giving you more choices and flexibility in how to store and sell products. This edition of the specification range catalog shows our continued investment in products and services to improve and increase our already comprehensive range. In this catalog, we have concentrated our low-carbon residential and non-residential products in one place, providing what we believe is the best solution for today’s various specifications. We have introduced many new models that extend our well-proven traditional products and further expand our capabilities through numerous innovations in Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon and energy-efficient ventilation solutions. For example, EKF kitchen fan has built-in EC motor speed regulation, the highest rated high temperature is 120 degrees, the motor is out of air flow, and the specific fan power is less than 1 W/l/s; we believe that there is no better solution. We thank you for your habit and feedback all the time, and we are ready to answer any questions you have at any time. If you need to contact us, please send an email to sales@vent-axia.com, or contact your local representative, they will be happy to help you. Legislative Approval Document F 2010-Ventilation Method The purpose of this regulation is to ensure that adequate ventilation methods are provided for people in the building. According to the document, ventilation is “removal of stale air in a building and replacing it with fresh outdoor air”. By providing fresh outdoor air to breathe, ventilation helps to dilute and remove pollutants and reduce humidity/condensation, which creates a more pleasant environment and relief for asthma and allergy sufferers. Part F is a performance-based overall architectural solution that not only explains what should be achieved, but also how to achieve this goal. The pollutants in today’s modern houses have caused these changes, and the types and acceptable levels of pollutants are now detailed in Part F 2010 of the approval document. Nitrogen Dioxide (NO 2) Carbon Monoxide (CO 2) Total Volatile Compounds (TVOC) Biological-Sewage (Body Odor) In ADF 2010, the ventilation requirements for newly built properties are based on the analysis of building area, number of bedrooms and occupants, refer to The entire residence. ADF 2010 covers four systems, including intermittent exhaust fans, passive chimneys, continuous mechanical exhaust ventilation (MEV) and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR). A guide called “Household Ventilation Compliance Guide” can be used. This includes installation practices as well as signing and commissioning. Efficiency regulations require buildings to be better sealed and airtight. In ADF 2010, there are two ventilation rates according to the design permeability of the building. Properties with a permeability exceeding 5m 3 h/m 2 (more leaky properties) have a ratio, while properties with a permeability lower than 5m 3 h/m 2 (closer properties) have a higher ventilation rate. The practical result of this means that in confined properties, the following applies: • The trickle vents of intermittent fans can be increased by up to 50% • MVHR rate increases. MEV in properties of 5m 3 h/m 2 or more does not apply. A trickle vent is required. The guide can be used for the ventilation of the basement of the house and the trickle ventilation of the replacement window. Meet the requirements of Part F. The installation performance meets the ventilation rate quoted in the document. This means that the ventilation must be commissioned and signed by qualified personnel. With the improvement of air tightness, the acoustic characteristics are also improved, thereby reducing the external noise entering our house. However, this will make any noise generated inside the property more noticeable, so in Part F, the maximum noise level of the trickle velocity of the continuous ventilation system is set to 35dB(A). Document L-Fuel and Electricity Protection approved in 2013. These documents set the minimum performance level for ventilation efficiency and reduction of system consumption. These regulations have brought some major changes to the ventilation industry to improve air quality and energy efficiency. Part L-Overview • Target emission rates and textile energy efficiency standards aim to reduce carbon emissions by 6% • Non-residential building service compliance guidelines show specific fan power requirements. The minimum heat recovery efficiency of the EN308 test standard • The specific fan power (SFP) target of the new or replaced commercial kitchen extraction system is 1 W/l/s • The minimum energy efficiency level of all ventilation systems. The SFP of intermittent fans for new and refurbished applications must be less than 0.5 W/l/s.
4 As part of Europe’s continued promotion of energy efficiency, as of January 2016, ventilation equipment exceeding 30 watts has now been included in the scope of the energy-related product directive. The legislation stipulates a series of minimum performance standards for fans and ventilation equipment based on two sets of legislation; “residential” ventilation and “non-residential” ventilation. As a result of the legislation, we have reviewed our products and updated them as needed to ensure they meet the requirements. The major changes mean that many products have designated replacement motors or have been updated to achieve speed control. However, we have ensured that the installation method is not affected. Through the review, we also took this opportunity to rationalize our scope when needed. All related products in this document have been updated in accordance with the requirements of ErP regulations. Please note that due to changes in products caused by ErP, we will have a transition period. We will go from the old model to the new model. Any inventory you currently hold will not be affected by this regulation and can be sold normally. Residential products Residential products have a secondary directive that requires certain products to carry an energy label, as described below: Residential Scope-Small Fans Most small residential fans are not affected by the legislation, because any equipment below 30 watts is currently not available Within range. However, information about them has been recorded and can be found at www.vent-axia.com/erp. Duet and Gemini fans have been delisted, but can still be used as spare parts, so please contact sales@vent-axia for more information. MVHR and MEV products are indeed within the scope of legislation and will carry energy labels. There are some minimum energy efficiency requirements and summer bypass requirements for heat recovery models. A few of our products have been updated to ensure that they meet these requirements. The following products have been discontinued: • Kinetic E energy efficiency grade products within the ErP range now require a rating that shows their energy efficiency grade. This information is called the “SEC rating” and is provided on all product literature and energy labels. The SEC category of a product is affected by the way the product is controlled. This is called Local Demand Control (LDC) and indicates how many “sensors” the fan should have. Regulations require that single room fans, such as bathroom fans, should be equipped with at least one sensor. Pipeline devices, such as MEV devices, require multiple sensors. For example, pull cord/light switch or humidistat. In our literature, if additional LDC is added to the product, we will display the rating where appropriate. In these cases, you will see a table similar to the one below with a heading (including LDC). So you can choose the most effective option according to your needs. Example of SEC rating Model SEC rating SEC rating (including LDC) HR200 CB 1 1 Manufacturer name 1 2 Model name 1 3 Energy efficiency class 1 4 Maximum flow rate 1 5 Sound level 2016 1254/2014 dB ENERGIA · ЕНЕГИЯ · NERGIA · РГИЯ ENERGY · ENERGIE m 3 /h C Vent-Axia 443028L 66 252 1 3 1 1 1 4 1 5 1 2 Energy Related Products Directive (ErP)
5 Non-residential non-residential products have established minimum performance and efficiency levels, but there is no requirement to introduce energy labels. Some products have been updated with new motors and enabled speed control. The non-residential area is divided into many different categories according to its application and function. These can be described as follows: 1. Fan 2. One-way ventilation device 3. Two-way ventilation device 1. Fan These products have a simple housing that can guide air in and out of the impeller. Examples include axial fans and chassis fans. These examples are beyond the scope of legislation. Changing the way we sell products ErP regulations give us the opportunity to review our product range and in some cases enable us to improve our inventory and sales methods. Examples of this include T series and standard range fans. You can now buy them as whole products or in modular form. The entire product can be purchased using the existing part number that you have been using. Alternatively, you can purchase only the motor core or only the installation kit according to your needs. If you are not sure about the new part number, don’t worry, because we will tell you what the new part number is. But in some cases, you may receive more than one box.
6 2. Unidirectional ventilation device This includes products with only one direction, and there is an auxiliary housing around the fan. This is the product category that requires the most changes. The impact of efficiency legislation means that it is almost impossible to comply with the use of forward-bending AC centrifugal fans. Therefore, we have switched to back-bending centrifugal fans in all AC box fan series. This means changes in box size and performance adjustments across the entire range. Therefore, the product series has been updated: ACQ/ATQ QP/QPTW We have many product series that are close to the end of their life cycle. We take this opportunity to rationalize them and provide suitable alternative series when possible. The following product series are no longer available: VMD RMV GRB GDB GRD Other product series have been rationalized to provide a solution, including: ARH-rationalized to MFQ RBH-rationalized to RMH 3. Two-way ventilation device supply and extraction of these product series, such as Heat recovery. A minimum energy requirement is now set for heat recovery efficiency. Any product with an efficiency of 67% or lower does not meet the requirements. The Totus 2 and ERV-HIBOX series are not affected by these changes, but the low-efficiency heat recovery ERV-BOX products have been discontinued. Minimum heat recovery efficiency 67% 67% Energy Related Products Directive (ErP)
7 Since the first introduction of building codes for ventilation in 1992, the situation has changed a bit. The following is an overview of the changes since 2006. 2006-Part F includes continuous ventilation for the first time. The ventilation system was installed by technicians, but performance data has never been tested. The change in part L means that SAP Q products can be used as part of residential SAP calculations. 2010-Design, install and ensure its correct use. With increasing energy efficiency and decreasing air permeability of residential designs, ventilation systems now require specific flow rates, and there is an increasing demand for efficient heat recovery to help reduce DER. It is now necessary to install ventilation properly and record and measure the installation situation, in addition to providing guidance to residents on how to operate it. 2013-New Part L requirements mean reducing air leakage and improving air tightness. These trends continue to drive higher-efficiency adoption, and as the beneficial air from leaks is further reduced, the importance of installation increases. 2016—According to the commitments made at the recent COP21 meeting and the Paris climate agreement, the focus on decarbonization and energy efficiency will continue. Building energy performance directives and energy-related product directives have an impact on the performance and efficiency standards of ventilation. These driving factors will continue to develop and are expected to be transformed into standards in the future, which means more attention to energy efficiency. The commitment to zero-carbon construction in 2019 will mean that the F and L parts of the building code may be revised. When we concentrate on reducing the energy used in buildings, the risk of airtight, well-insulated buildings becoming a potential cause of respiratory problems increases. Therefore, the importance of a well-designed and well-installed system that operates as designed has increased. This will lead to more emphasis on ability when installing ventilation equipment, and may promote the improvement of the training methods of installers. Things to remember • Airflow performance • Minimum energy efficiency limit • Good installation • Future directions for tenant use

14 The introduction of Svara, the UK’s first application-controlled integrated fan, marked the birth of the next generation of integrated fans. For electricians, Svara’s Bluetooth application makes installation easy, allowing you to choose whether to choose intermittent or continuous ventilation; whether you want the humidistat to trigger the operation; and whether you need a timeout timer. No more cumbersome switches and jumpers! For consumers, Svara provides a higher level of comfort for their homes because it was developed to allow families to control their indoor air quality through apps. Aesthetics and silence The influence of the name Svara comes from the Swedish tradition of fans-a country known for iconic and thoughtful designs. Consumers will be attracted by Svara’s sleek and modern design, and noise is a key issue for consumers. Families will also be impressed by Svara’s quiet operation, which runs at only 17 dBA at low trickles. It is also easy to clean, because the central module disconnects the motor from the rest of the fan and only needs to be wiped with a soft cloth, and the energy-saving Svara with only 4W also has low power consumption. One model fits all Vent-Axia Svara that is programmed to handle most installations. The fan is set to work continuously at a trickle flow rate of 10l/s by default. When the fan senses someone in the room, it will increase the flow to 19l/s. If the humidity rises rapidly, such as in the shower, the fan will increase to the maximum flow rate at a speed of 30l/s. When the fan senses that the humidity level returns to normal, it will return to a trickle of 10l/s. If you need other settings or features, you can choose from the Vent-Axia Connect app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Functional light sensor When the light sensor is enabled, Svara will sense that someone is in the room and activate it. Its sophisticated light sensor is triggered by light movement and shadows. A delay can be set so that the fan will not be triggered by the light when the bathroom is quickly accessed at night. The light sensor can also distinguish the flashing of the headlights from the car and the room occupied, so it will not be triggered by passing cars and avoid nuisance operation. The sensitivity of the light sensor can be adjusted through the app. Over-limit timer The light sensor provides an over-limit timer, but only needs to be charged and neutral. In houses where only basic fans are installed, homeowners can upgrade to timed fans without rewiring. HumidistatSvara is equipped with a humidistat which can react to sudden changes in humidity, such as when someone is taking a bath. When set to continuous operation, once the humidity sensor is activated, the fan runs at a speed of 30l/s until the humidity returns to a normal level, and then the fan power is reduced to 10l/s. Changes in ambient humidity will not trigger the humidistat. The sensitivity of the humidity sensor can be changed through the app. The mute schedule and automatic loop mute schedule feature allows you to disable the enhanced features on Svara through the app, for example, this will prevent noise interference at night. In addition, during the holidays, you can set Svara in ventilation mode, which, depending on your choice, runs the purification function every 12 hours for 30, 60 or 90 minutes. However, if the light sensor detects that someone is in the room, Svara’s precise control will not clear it. 16 Lo-Carbon iQ • Simple retro design to match the bathroom decoration • Extremely quiet-only 21 dB(A) • Really surface mountable with a detachable faucet • Smart control and control panel, easy to set up and adjust flexibly • Low Power consumption – only 5 W • Easy to clean and maintain • 5-year low-carbon motor warranty • Smart constant humidity control as standard • Innovative ventilation function to ensure good air quality • IP44 class market leading design With the Lo-Carbon iQ fan With the launch, we not only spent time to improve the operation and user experience of the fan, but also worked hard on the design. The result is a stylish fan whose surface is deeply eye-catching and matches the modern accessories in today’s bathrooms. The visible blades give a retro feel and help provide a very quiet noise level for the fan. Silent operation The open impeller and unique motor operation method provide more operating options, including silent continuous ventilation, adaptive speed control and flexible timer functions. Humidity control iQ has an intelligent fully automatic humidity sensor for humidity control. This means that the fan will only learn to operate when it has an impact on indoor air quality. The fan continuously monitors and records the moisture content to draw a map of the humidity distribution throughout the year. This process enables the fan to ensure that it can only operate when the fan can reduce the moisture content in the air. This reduces annoying operations. The fan also has two humidity control modes, mute or boost mode, which can be selected through the touch panel control. Control Panel Our goal is to allow end users to control and understand basic fan functions without having to read manuals. When the fan is connected to the power supply, it will also perform a self-test, that is, test all the status lights on the control panel and the function of the motor. Ideal for those who install to make sure everything is in order. Simple controls and LED feedback make commissioning and any readjustment can be done quickly and easily. LED feedback For many fans, it is difficult to understand the exact mode in which they operate. We have simplified this now to provide a visual indicator to see what the fan is doing and which mode is currently active. The fan uses three different colors on the visible status lights to accurately convey the operation it is performing. The blue light indicates that the fan is expelling moisture through the humidity sensor. The yellow light indicates that the timer is running. The purple light indicates that the automatic drying function has been activated. You choose the working mode of the fan. The intelligent overrun timer can be operated in many different ways. It can be used as a standard on/off or as an instantaneous switching time that automatically stops after overrun. You can use the control panel to easily set the required post-run time to 15 or 30 minutes, depending on your choice. The full-surface-mounted impeller and motor components are designed to be low-profile and easy to maintain. The socket on the fan can be completely removed. This design allows the fan to be installed on the wall without any sockets, so that it can be surface mounted. If your duct is less than 100 mm in size, or if the duct is bent directly from the back of the fan, but does not provide any depth for the socket, then this is an ideal feature. Cleaning and maintenance In order for the fans to effectively ventilate, keep them clean and the duct system and grille free of dust, which will reduce the air flowing through them, it is important. This is the first fan that can simply remove the impeller and open the center of the fan to freely enter the duct. Using the “outside swing” function, you can easily clean and remove fans, such as the grille that is blocked on the outer wall. Click the button to remove the impeller, then press the buckle and unscrew the motor-that’s it!
17 Automatic ventilation function The ventilation function means that when the fan does not work for 26 hours, it will run a 60-minute ventilation program to exchange the air in the bathroom. When you come back from vacation, you never have to worry about the sultry smell of mildew in the bathroom. Low-carbon 5-year warranty. Thanks to an integrated power adapter in the fan, we have been able to use a low-voltage motor with a service life of approximately 60,000 hours. This is about 3-5 times longer than a standard fan. The motor has extremely quiet bearings. By using low-voltage motors, we can significantly limit power consumption. The fan consumes only 5 watts, which is about one-third of the traditional AC bathroom fan. The model Lo-Carbon iQ Multi controls the fan, which can be operated in intermittent or continuous settings. Adjustable timer and humidity options, including integrated drawstring. Quiet operation and high-pressure development, the response is the best in its class. After Vent-Axia’s response fan introduced home ventilation compliance guidelines in Part F 2010, and required to test the installation airflow of the exhaust fan, Vent-Axia’s response fan provides the easiest installation. The unique display (patent pending) provides calibrated installation airflow and installation pressure, which means there is no need to use airflow measuring equipment to test the installation. Constant volume technology can automatically adjust the fan speed to ensure the required airflow. Lo-Carbon Response adopts a new type of silent high-pressure axial flow impeller, which can meet many domestic installation requirements without using traditional centrifugal fans. Axial, not centrifugal? Some centrifugal wind machines generate pressure, but the actual installed air flow may mean that the pressure is useless because the air flow is lower than required. Using the new high-pressure silent axial flow impeller, the fan can not only obtain excellent installation performance in pipeline operation, but also can be realized in the most energy-saving way. The response can provide excellent pressure while still maintaining energy efficiency and not wasting energy under high pressure with low air volume. This allows the fan to save up to 64% of the specific fan power (SFP) of SAP PCDB data for existing centrifugal alternatives. 50 With increasing concerns about accurate ventilation of properties, the low-carbon Multivent MVDC series provides a “close control” option for residential and commercial areas. Using a DC motor, the multi-speed Lo-Carbon Multivent is one of the most efficient central extraction devices. These devices have two fully variable trickle and boost speeds, as well as switched real-time (LS) activation for boost speed. Using a second live switching connection provides an additional third speed (purge). The standard sound-absorbing lining ensures that noise is minimized. The speed selector controlled by the potentiometer can accurately set the airflow to ensure the correct ventilation rate. This feature can also reduce noise and energy consumption.
